  • SMS Messages: The content of notes and queries you send to our service
  • Phone Number: Your mobile phone number for service delivery
  • Sign-up Information: Name and email address when you register for beta access

  • AI-Generated Metadata: Categories, tags, keywords, and summaries created by our AI processing
  • Relationship Data: Connections between your notes identified by our system
  • Embeddings: Vector representations of your notes for search functionality

  • Timestamps: When messages are sent and received
  • Usage Data: Commands used, interaction patterns, feature usage
  • Service Logs: Technical logs for troubleshooting and improvement

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our SMS knowledge management service
  • Process your notes using AI for categorization, summarization, and relationship detection
  • Store and retrieve your notes securely
  • Respond to your queries and commands
  • Send you service-related communications
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the service (aggregated, non-identifiable data)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT: Sell your personal information to third parties. Your notes and personal data are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

4.1 Twilio (SMS Gateway)

Twilio processes your SMS messages for delivery. Twilio receives your phone number and message content. View Twilio's Privacy Policy

4.2 OpenAI (AI Processing)

OpenAI processes your note content for categorization, summarization, and embedding generation. View OpenAI's Privacy Policy

Note: As of our API usage agreement, OpenAI does not use API data for model training.

4.3 Cloud Hosting

Our infrastructure is hosted on secure cloud providers. Your data is stored encrypted at rest.

5. Data Retention

  • Your Notes: Retained indefinitely until you request deletion. You own your data.
  • Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion request.
  • Service Logs: Retained for 90 days for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Backups: May persist in backup systems for up to 30 days after deletion.

6. Data Security

We implement security measures including:

  • TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • Twilio request signature verification
  • Secure API key management
  • Regular security reviews and updates
  • Access controls and audit logging

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data (via /export command or email request)
  • Correction: Update or correct your information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability: Export your notes in JSON format
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.
